As always, we enjoyed every minute of the kids this Memorial weekend. Saturday we went to Dara's HS graduation. What an accomplishment...we are all so proud of her and took tons of pictures! Sunday we took the little kids to McDonald's to play and then I took Megan shopping for things to fix up her new house. We had so much fun and I really enjoy (and miss) my 1:1 time with my little girl. Although...she's not too little anymore! She only has 2 weeks "max" left before little Hudson is born. Sunday afternoon the kids had friends over to play and eat dinner. Sierra spent the night with Grace (who lives in our neighborhood) and we played with JB until he fell asleep. Today, we all slept in and then we went by Megan's so Brett could help Heath move some things out of storage. We then took the little kids down to Nanaw Margaret and Grandpa Ezra's. They drove the new golf cart (JB is a maniac!) and then they both went swimming. Sierra hasn't been feeling very well today (sore throat) and JB wore himself out...he fell asleep with a bowl of popcorn on his lap watching a movie :) Poor little guy, he hadn't even tasted his popcorn and he was out!
I can't believe I spent 17 years divorced. I sometimes sit back and wish I had met Brett sooner, but then I stop and think we wouldn't have Sierra and JB if I had. And, I enjoyed my time with Brandon and Megan watching them grow-up. We have the perfect family and I wouldn't change it for anything. I know I say this a lot, but I'm not sure I could ever say it enough...I'm very blessed.
Hope everyone had a nice, relaxing Memorial Day.

Still going...
We're still working on our house. I think this is a never ending project. We have the fort up, swimming pool in, pergola built and now we're working on the landscaping. Brett keeps asking me if we're EVER going to be finished. I'm not so sure this isn't an ongoing project :)
Congrats to Megan, Dal and Ace! We're very happy for you guys and can't wait to see the little one. Our Megan is still on bed rest and they have told her it could be any day, but no later than June 10. Hudson now weighs 6 lbs, 1 oz. so he is a pretty good size. I'm afraid if she went to her scheduled due date, July 4th, that he would be as big as Ace. Megan closed on her house yesterday so we are in the process of painting, tiling and re-carpeting it for her. She should be able to move in over the next several weeks. Just in time for Hudson to arrive!
Sierra had her dance recital last weekend and I know I'm partial, but she was BY FAR the best one out there. And she is the youngest in her class. She is a real natural and I think going to be good and any thing she decides to do.
Wow...this family is pretty exciting right now. Two new babies and two graduating from High School. It's fun being a part of it.
Hope everyone has a great week!
