We're back from Spring Training and we had a great time with BL. We were able to watch him play several games (most inner-squad scrimmages). We also went to the Texas Rangers vs Brewers game Friday evening. The stadium was packed and Sammy Sosa hit a grand slam home run. It really put things into perspective for us. We've always watched the major league games on TV and those guys seemed bigger than life. In reality, most of them are about the same size as BL. Brandon gave us a player/family pass which allowed us access to the player parking lot, major league park (through the player entrance, etc...) it was really awesome. We were able to watch the Royals major league team practice on Sunday before we left. It was the last day of spring training for those guys and they were packing up and getting ready to leave. We saw, George Brett, Buddy Bell, Alex Gordon, Jason LaRue, Luke Hochevar (#1 draft pick this year, signed for approximately 8 million) and many more players. Needless to say, Brett was in heaven...made him really miss the game.
BL is doing well and knows now that he will be in Burlington, Iowa for "long A" which Brett explains to me means he made a long season team which is good. We leaves for Iowa next week. We'll keep everyone posted and let you know the website so you can listen to his games online.
Everything else is great. We are both extremely busy at work. I have our largest event of the year this coming Saturday, The Total Health Event. And Brett is getting ready to go to Florida for a meeting with his company.
Megan is good. Went to the dr. today and found out she has kidney stones so she is not thrilled about that. They've given her some pain medicine in case she starts having pains again. Hopefully she won't have to worry about it until after Hudson is born. I can't believe she only has 3 months left!
We will post pictures soon of both our cruise and spring training.

We're back from Jamaica Mon...
We had a great time on our cruise. We just got back in late last night and that had to be one of the nicest, most relaxing trips we've ever been on. Brett's company did a great job coordinating everything - from the food, to the excursions, we couldn't have asked for more. Everything (except alcohol) was all-inclusive. I don't think we have eaten that well, or that much, in a long time. We had steak, lobster, salmon, etc... every night for dinner. They also rented an entire beach in Jamaica on Monday. We took a catamaran over to the island and once we were there, they had a stage, Bob Marley band, limbo, volleyball and a huge barbeque feast. There were approximately 115 employees (plus spouses/guests) from Brett's company. We had five couples in our group from the OKC office. On Tuesday, we docked at Cayman Island and swam with stingrays. Well, some of us swam with stingrays...I swam out, looked down through my goggles and saw a 5-6' stingray swimming right under me. At that time, I decided I didn't want to swim with anything that could suck on my skin or sting me with their tail...I hauled it back to the boat. We had two people on our boat that got stung...that just wasn't my idea of fun. I did, however, enjoy the trip over and it was fun watching everyone else swim/scream with the stingrays.
If you haven't been on a cruise, you should go at least once. It was more than we ever expected and Brett is already planning our next cruise. We never got sea sick and there is plenty to do on the ship.
Next week is back to work and then we leave again on Thursday for Arizona. We spoke with Brandon on Thursday and he is doing great! He played four games at the AA level and went 6-8 with three doubles. He told Brett that he is playing better than he's ever played...good timing!
Happy (early) St. Patrick's day!
